Family Ministries Assistant Director at Marysville Grace Church (Marysville, Ohio)

PURPOSE STATEMENT: To provide leadership and implementation of our Family Ministries vision while supporting staff and volunteers during our weekend services and children’s special events throughout the calendar year. 

TITLE: Family Ministries Administrative Lead
PIPELINE LEVEL: Staff
REPORTS TO: Director of Family Ministries

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years of administrative experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective time-management skills along with multitasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Gifted collaborator 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides High-Level administrative support to the Pastor of Family Ministries by leading the MG children’s Administrative Staff in our vision for Family Ministries 
• Assist the Pastor of Family Ministries with the training of Family Ministry Staff, Coaches and Volunteers in the Marysville Grace Leadership Pathway and competencies
• Administration/Serve in our children’s ministry during weekend services including but not limited to: Children’s Ministry schedule for staffing and volunteer support teams (Large group Leader, Small Group Leader, Team member, Registration, S.O.A.R.)
• Implement Training for weekend service volunteers with the assistance of our Administrative Staff 
• Organize and lead team huddles with MG children’s ministry volunteers quarterly 
• Schedule and manage day-to-day operations of the children’s ministry events along with leadership of staff and volunteers 
• Oversee the ordering of supplies, maintaining records, and performing basic bookkeeping
• Receiving and distributing incoming communication, and organizing team communications
• Interpreting and implementing policies and procedures for the Family Ministry team

Time Investment: 30 – 40 hours per week
Regular office hours Tuesday-Friday (9am-5pm) Flexible
Weekend Worship Assignment schedule EXAMPLE: 
week 1 – serve Saturday and Sunday services in children’s ministry
week 2 – serve Saturday in children’s ministry, attendance at Weekend Service
week 3 – serve Sunday in children’s ministry, attendance at Weekend Service 
week 4 – weekend off in children’s ministry, attendance at Weekend Service 
(encourage sitting in attendance at Weekend Service if in town)
