YERS, Rev. Palau's statement concerning the unregistered church register w/ the govt. was uncalled for, namely because he was going on observance rather then fact. True, and praise God, freedom of religion has increased somewhat in China, but mainly in the large cities such as Bejing and Shanghi. Going into the interior you will see another side of this so called freedom. Many pastors at this time are being persecuted and imprisoned. What we see in America is what the authorities want us to see. I know because I have been to China several times working with the underground church as well as attending and learning all I could about the registered church. Several years ago Franklin Graham from Sammaritians Purse claimed there was no restrictions on Bibles in China since they accepted a semi-truck load to be given to the people. Well, fact is the truck sets in a warehouse....I could go on and on but with contacts still in China it is best to not say all I know. Rev. Palau is a good man but like several other well-known Evangelist who have been fooled by the Chinese govt. , he is one of them. .

DaveMitchell
Silverfox63
