Pastor Pifer was evidence of “Christianity in Action.” I am so privileged to have known Lester and sat under his teaching. I am only 82 but I use to tell him “I want to grow up and be just like you.” Hopefully, I have gat more time to try to get close to his level of sharing Christ. Know he and my wife Wanda have had a conversation in heaven

So instrumental in my husband serving on the board for 30 years –formerly Home Missions, then GBNAM and then finally transitioned to GBIF. Personally came to our home and opened savings accounts for our firstborn. Always will remember visits to his home in IN and later in FL. Thankful he came into our lives.
