PURPOSE STATEMENT: To function as the Pastor of the Marysville Grace Life Groups Ministry, providing leadership and discipleship to one of the main relational connections at Marysville Grace. Life Groups function in our “Live It” portion of our church mission, therefore, as the Life Groups Director, you are a leader of leaders. The primary purpose of the Life Groups Pastor is to serve, lead, connect with, and minister to the Life Group Shepherds at Marysville Grace.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Implement the 20-40-10 vision as assigned by Lead pastor and Elders.
– Function as overall leader of all Life Groups, leading the other leaders in the Christian community vision. Building and maintaining
alignment and unity to that vision.
– Lead in the continued development and growth of a strong Life Group ministry fostering the importance of connection and biblical
community (the “Live it”) at Marysville Grace.
– Host and lead weekly Sermon Prep Meeting and develop weekly Life Group Sermon questions.
– Host and lead Bi-annual Life Group Huddles with Coaches and work with executive team to develop. Co-lead annual Inspire Event for all
leaders.
– Work with staff to create promotional materials and methods that ensure everyone at the church is aware of the Life Groups ministry area,
its purpose and importance, and how to get connected.
– Empowering and equipping Life Group leaders/coaches in successful completion of their day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
– Plan and implement regular connection structures/events as a means of bridging the gap between attractional environments and
deepening environments (Life Groups).
– Responsible for the development and management of the annual budget for Life Groups ministry.
– Assist in specific ministry areas for seasons of time as determined by the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor and elders’ team.
– Preaching and teaching as assigned.
– Function as a member of church’s pastoral staff performing baptisms, weddings, funerals etc.
– Perform other pastoral duties as assigned.
