It was a good story, but doesn’t really tell who my dad was – I suppose that is very difficult to do in just one story. He will forever be remembered by my family and especially my little boy, Bailey. He was pappy’s buddy and truly loved him and still asks about Pappy. Bailey is 4 and has a faith in God that is amazing. His faith in God keeps him looking forward to seeing pappy in heaven someday and often wonders when Jesus is coming back to take us home! I keep telling him it’s a surprise, but can’t stop hoping it’s very soon! 🙂 I pray that Bailey won’t forget pappy and the things they did together…. time will only tell. I’ve put a special photo book together for him that just has “Bailey and Pappy” pictures and memories. Until Jesus returns for us, may God’s love be with you all.
