“Dinner and a Ministry” is a once-a-month Sunday evening event at the Winona Lake (IN) Grace Brethren Church. Modeled after Steve Sjogren’s concept of “servant evangelism,” the program is organized and directed by WLGBC associate pastor Bruce Barlow. Service teams do community outreach, work on the church building, write notes of encouragement, call shut-ins and many other forms of ministry, all grouped around a tasty meal and some fellowship.
