The Charis Fellowship is governed by and functions in accordance with several guiding documents. Below are the six documents that pertain to what Charis Fellowship churches believe and how the Charis Fellowship operates.
Commitment to Common Identity
This document is a summary of the biblical convictions, mutual commitments, and common practices of our global Charis Alliance family. All churches and ministries of the Charis Fellowship (United States and Canada) agree to cooperate harmoniously within the parameters outlined by the Commitment to Common Identity.
Commitment to Common Mission
This document outlines the mutual commitments of our global Charis Alliance family in planting churches, training leaders, and doing good in our communities. All churches and ministries of the Charis Fellowship (United States and Canada) are called upon to pray and take specific steps to fulfill these mutual commitments.
Position Statements
This document helps to provide biblical clarification on specific issues of culture, theology, or practice within the ministry context of North America. All churches and ministries of the Charis Fellowship (United States and Canada) agree to cooperate harmoniously within the parameters outlined by the Position Statements.
Resolutions
This document is provided as a resource to Charis Fellowship churches and ministries and seeks to address various social and ethical issues from the standpoint of biblical truth. Resolutions are exclusive creations of the Social Concerns Committee affirmed by the Charis Fellowship as an important practical resource for further study and discussion.
