Pastor Ned Denlinger, who coordinates communications for the Tri-State district, sends along the following update on report-after-surgery for Elizabeth Pierce, the daughter-in-law of Pastor Daniel Pierce of the Greenville, Ohio, Grace Brethren Church. Here is Ned’s latest report:
Pastor Daniel just called me back. They received the pathology report. Elizabeth’s tumor is a grade 3 cancer. They will begin radiation and chemo treatments next week. It sounds like radiation will be 5 days/week for 6 weeks.
One big question is where to have it done. So as Daniel said, the good news is that they have the pathology report. The bad news is that the cancer is grade 3 and they were hoping for grade 2 or less.
