The following news briefs are from the appropriate year’s November-December issues of the Brethren Missionary Herald magazine.

Fifteen Years Ago – 1992
The Wooster, Ohio, Grace Brethren Church dedicated its new 58,000 square-foot, 800-seat sanctuary with Knute Larson as the guest speaker. Robert Fetterhoff was the pastor.

Twenty Years Ago – 1987
The Dayton, Ohio, First Grace Brethren Church dedicated its new 500-seat sanctuary. G. Forrest Jackson was the pastor.

Thirty Years Ago-1977
The new science building at Grace College, Winona Lake, Ind. opened for classes this fall.

Dr. L. L. Grubb, former pastor and long-time executive secretary of Brethren Home Missions, died in southern California after heart surgery.

Fifty Years Ago – 1957
The Pike Brethren Church (Johnstown, Pa.) dedicated is new facility on November 3, debt free. Clair Gartland was the pastor.

The first services of the new San Diego, Calif., Grace Brethren Church were held on November 24.
