Grads get one last lesson in faith

Students graduating from Grace Brethren High School listened as teachers, their principal and a guest speaker told them they should pursue their dreams with the knowledge that a strong Christian faith could help them achieve anything.

The private Christian school held its graduation May 30 at Grace Brethren Church on Sycamore Drive, where 65 students received their diplomas.

The 17-year-old said her life changed when she was diagnosed with a serious medical condition that affected her nervous system. Instead of being negatively affected by the condition, she found a new way to look at opportunities around her.
