FGBC Organizational Leaders Meet in Columbus

Leaders of national and cooperating organizations in the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches (FGBC) are meeting this week on the north side of Columbus, Ohio. More than 15 have gathered for a time of updates, brainstorming, and collaboration.

The sessions kicked off this evening with dinner, followed by introductions, and a “state of the union” report from Bartley Sawatsky, executive director of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches (and pastor of Grace Community Church, Mississauga, Ontario). Dave Guiles, executive director of Encompass World Partners, who has been leading the Identity Initiative discussions, gave a brief overview of the process, addressing how the FGBC-USA relate to the global Grace Brethren movement.

The sessions continue through tomorrow afternoon.
