News from CE National:

Peggy’s official title at CE National for the last 25 years has been materials coordinator. On Friday, September 11, Peggy will be honored with her retirement luncheon. Peggy took care of mailings and ordering materials, but anyone who has been in the CE National offices knows that she has been a helper to this Church Effectiveness ministry in an even greater capacity.

Peggy has a heart for people. She loves God. She is a servant. She is generous. She is a talented singer and pianist. She is one of the funniest individuals we know—just ask her!

So Peggy is going to sit back and do nothing now that she is retired? Hardly. Retirement will just give her more time to minister to inmates at the Kosciusko County Jail. With opportunities in her lifetime to make her hardened and bitter, Peggy chose to show the love of Christ and invest herself in others. And what a difference she has made! In 2008, Peggy was recognized with CE National’s highest individual award: The Wall of Honor. (Watch her video.)

Ed Lewis, executive director of CE National, said this about Peggy, “Peggy has not just been a faithful worker here at CE; she is an incredible example of being a godly woman. She shares her faith. She disciples people. She gives to people. She is hospitable. She loves to serve. She is faithful serving at the Kosciusko County Jail EVERY day! She is a servant. I know that as she retires from her work at CE National she will continue to carry on the ministry spirit for many years to come! We will miss her but we thank God for her wonderful spirit of loving God and others.”
