Caesar Kalinowski returns to the national conference of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches (FGBC) this year to speak during the Saturday morning session on “The Margins May Be Closer Than You Think.” Engaging the margins of our world with the Gospel begins in the mirror and moves outward from there. Before we can effectively make disciples and pursue the lost we must first come to terms with the margins in our heart.

Michael Frost was scheduled to speak but had to cancel his engagement due to a family need.

Caesar will also lead a workshop on Saturday on “Missional DNA: Starting a Missional Community from Scratch.” Caesar will share best practices and tools along with stories of success (and failure) to get you started and heading in the right direction. He will look at what a missional community is and what it is NOT. This will be a practical “starting with the basics” session. There will be lots of time for Q&A in this workshop.

Caesar spoke at Flinch Conference in 2015. He is a church planter, missional strategist, and one of the founding leaders of Soma Communities. He currently serves as the Director of the GCM Collective, an organization that helps catalyze missional community multiplication across North America. His new book, Transformed, was just published by Zondervan in February 2014. He has been married to Tina, his high school sweetheart, for 30 years; they have three children, Caesar, Christin, and Justine.

Margins | 2016, the national conference of the FGBC, will be July 22-25 in Toronto. More information is available at visionconference.us.
