Grace Brethren marks 25th graduating class

Graduation marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, but for Grace Brethren High School’s Class of 2017, the May 26 ceremony was more than a milestone for students.
It was also a momentous occasion for the Simi Valley private school.
“After 38 years, we’re celebrating the 25th graduating class at Grace Brethren,” Vice Principal Scott Nandor told the crowd of friends and family at last Friday’s ceremony, which was held at Grace Brethren Church.
“As this Class of 2017 graduates, we also are surpassing the 1,000-graduate mark,” he said, crediting the 97 members of the largest graduating class in the school’s history for that achievement.
To mark the occasion, keynote speaker U.S. Rep. Steve Knight (R-Simi Valley) offered the students some words of wisdom.
