Pennsylvania Team Helps with Texas Hurricane Clean-Up

A team from New Beginnings Grace Brethren Church, Myerstown, Pa. (Keith Shearer, pastor), is in Texas this week helping with Hurricane Harvey clean-up. This is the 17th team that has gone from Grace Brethren churches this fall as part of the Hurricane Harvey Coalition, including several teams who helped in Florida following Hurricane Irma.

Working with Amy and Dan from The Brook Church has been very rewarding. They have been great hosts and efficient coordinators. The homeowner has been extremely thankful for our efforts.Flooded home where the team started installing insulation and hanging drywall on Monday Nov 6.Initial meeting and prayer time with a homeowner who will be assisted this week. Home sustained flood damage on entire first floor.
