God has been so good to us, and so many ministry partners have helped make this a reality: The parking lot behind the Balmer Building, the Balmer Annex, and ten single car garages at Urban Hope Training Center that were obtained in 2017 have been completely paid off!
Generous donors helped make this important acquisition possible through individual gifts and pledges. And as of this past week, all pledges were completed in full. The entire property is ours free and clear. How great is that? God has been good!
Property that is useful for ministry in our area of Kensington is difficult to obtain, but God saw fit to allow us to purchase the property for 25% of the original asking price. Because of the difference that the Urban Hope Training Center has been making in the community, the former owner wanted us to have the property and was willing to work with us so that the properties would be used for ministry in the community!
Many thanks to all of our ministry partners who prayed and gave to this project. We look forward to the complete renovation of these facilities to be reconfigured to best be used in the ministry. The Annex Building already has been gutted and work is in progress for the interior of the building, thanks to work crews from Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church.
