The following ministry moves have been noted in the recent Inspire Charis Pastors Network (formerly Association of Grace Brethren Ministers) newsletter:
- At the Penn Valley Multi-Site Church, Telford, Pa., Andrew Saunders is pastor of shepherding and Telford campus leadership team coordinator, and Dave Allem is pastor of peaching at the Telford campus.
- Rick Conrad, is the pastor at Davidsville Community Church, Johnstown, Pa.
- Brad Groomis has been named pastor at Grace Church, Ephrata, Pa.
- Michael Lockstampfor is the campus pastor at Grace Church, Ocala, Fla.
- At Columbus, Ohio, Dustin Speaks is transitioning from a pastoral staff at Grace Polaris (Mike Yoder, lead pastor) to an entrepreneurial role in business. This is part of his ongoing commitment to life on mission and taking the Gospel into potentially fruitful places.
- In Akron, Ohio, Gary Underwood, who led the transition as the Ellet Grace Brethren Church became a campus of Grace Church (Jeff Bogue, senior pastor), has joined the church relations team with Compassion International. The Underwoods will remain in the area and involved at Grace Church.
The following have been recommended for ordination by their local churches:
- In the North Atlantic Fellowship: Adam Swift at Grace Church at Willow Valley, Lancaster, Pa.; Andy Sparks at Grace Church of Lititz, Pa.; and Scott Feather, Gateway Church in Parkesburg, Pa.
- Paul Sigmund was ordained January 13 and is the pastor of Family Ministries at Penn Valley Church.
- Davey Ermold was recommended for ordination by the Mid-Atlantic District in November. A celebration service is scheduled for March 10 at Blue Ridge Grace Brethren Church, Winchester, Va.
- Paul Poyner, pastor at Gulfview Grace Brethren Church, Port Richey, Fla., was ordained on February 17.
- Erik Brunk, pastor of Grace Brethren Church, Brooksville, Fla., was ordained on February 17.
