“A posture of boldness is a posture of preparedness,” said Tony Livigni, campus pastor of Grace Church, Medina, Ohio.

Livigni became a Christian when he attended a Momentum conference in high school. He was a young adult pastor for seven years before becoming the lead pastor of Grace Church.
Livigni explained why Peter wrote about sharing the good news with gentleness and respect. The second part of the theme verse, 1 Peter 3:15, is “Always be prepared.” In Acts 4: 7-13, Peter answered to the religious leaders with boldness, but in such a way that the leaders recognized that he was with Jesus.
The answer is Jesus, Livigni said, but people may not like that answer. Boldness is “unreserved-ness in speech.” The Bible is a bold message, students learned.
“People are going to ask you what’s changed…be bold in your answer. Tell them the ‘reason,’” Livigni said. It is Jesus.
