Dr. Chuck Davis, founder, president, and executive director of Caribbean Vision Ministries has decided it is time to conclude his ministry in this capacity. This is not a recent development but one he and the Board of Directors have been discussing and working on for several years. Chuck will continue to serve until a new executive director is in place. God has been gracious and kind in allowing this ministry to serve Him and the Caribbean people. God has provided a board of directors that is composed of godly and sacrificial people who are committed to carrying on the ministry of Caribbean Vision Ministries and its work of assisting God’s Church in ministry among Caribbean people.
Dr. Richard Schnieders has been selected by the board of directors to serve as the leader of the executive director search team. As the search team forms, Dr. Schnieders will be releasing information on the search and will be keeping CVM friends and partners informed of the progress and seeking input when appropriate.
Executive director succession will be critical at this time with so much of the Caribbean where CVM serves in chaos and in need of assistance and the Gospel. Ministry strategy, methods, and opportunities have changed much since the birth of CVM. CVM will be looking for a successor who can lead and give direction to expanding opportunities, strengthening the base of financial support and continue and expand the founding vision of assisting God’s Church.
At this time the board of directors and Dr. Schnieders would request that you pray for God’s wisdom and God’s leading for the board, the search team, and Dr. Schnieders.
