The mother of Brenda Welling, who serves with Grace Brethren International Missions in Mexico City, Mexico, has died in Goshen, Indiana.

Wanda M. Welling, 1703 W. Clinton St., Goshen, Indiana,
went to be with the Lord at 10:35 a.m. Friday in her home after being ill since Feb. 2010.
She was born Nov. 17, 1932 in Marshall County, W.V., to George and Bessie Lou (Hartley) Strait.
She married Floyd Welling June 15, 1952 in Oakland, Md. He survives.
She moved to Goshen in 1965 and was a member of Grace Community Church. She was a homemaker and an avid cook, hosting countless people in her home over the years. She also enjoyed nature, loved her family, loved people and loved Jesus.
She is survived by her husband; six children, George (Tonya) Welling, Columbus, Ohio, Brenda Welling, Mexico City, Mexico, Joe (Tammy) Welling, Goshen, Dana (David) Derrickson, Mishawaka, Gary Welling, Goshen, and Tim (Lisa) Welling, Goshen; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen (Ross) Ducker and Janice (Roger) Holmes, all of Eaton, Colo.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 2 p.m. service Saturday at Grace Community Church. The Rev. Jim Brown of the church will lead the service.
Cremation will take place.
