The current Senior Pastor is retiring and we are looking for someone who is interested leading the Church with a clear, innovative strategy. Maumee Valley has a group of solid believers who are open to creative ideas. The Church is on ten acres and debt free. The property has a pond, pavilion, volleyball court, softball/soccer field, ropes course and challenge course. We currently operate a Wilderness Camp for two weeks in the summer, which is a day camp.
Senior Pastor Ministry Description
- Growing in his love for Jesus.
- Theologically sound, knows the Scriptures and is an effective teacher. Agrees with our Statement of Faith. College level Bible classes or Seminary training is required.
- Has a passion to reach his community and world with the Gospel.
- Works hard and smart by using his time wisely and effectively.
- Has a desire to lead toward innovative and effective ministry.
- Has a shepherd’s heart shown by his love for people.
- Work experience where he has demonstrated competency, integrity and a positive attitude in the secular work setting as well as a ministry setting.
- Show evidence of successful relationships with his family, friends and people in the community.
The Church provides an excellent salary package. The current Senior Pastor is available to assist with the transition up to 6 months only if the new Senior Pastor feels it would be beneficial. He is not planning on staying in the area after retirement.
