“Church planters mostly fail in years three to five when their churches have drifted into obscurity, when the idealistic luster has worn off, and no one is paying attention to them anymore.” (Church in the Making, p. 50).
Endurance is one of many critical qualities we look for in our assessment candidates. Our 48-hour Resident Assessment Center is designed to ferret out the qualities needed in leadership to successfully plant a new church.
