Word has been received of the sudden death this morning, apparently from a heart attack, of Jim Smith, son of Grace Brethren pastor and evangelist Bill and Phyllis Smith. Jim is also the brother of Sherilyn Rank, wife of Dave Rank, who is on the staff of the Winona Lake (IN) Grace Brethren Church and CE National.
The younger Smiths live in Port Charlotte, Florida. Jim and his wife, Nadine, have three young adult sons living at home, several of which have special needs. Notes of sympathy may be sent to Nadine Smith, 167 Oldenburgh Court NE, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
