Benefit Concert Postponed

Jun 21, 2017

A concert in Martinsburg, W. Va., to benefit The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) in honor of Kristen (Michael) Jagodowski that was scheduled for June 23 has been postponed according to the event site on Facebook. The concert was in honor of Kristen, a long-time member of the Rosemont Grace Brethren Church (Carl Baker, pastor), and a recent double lung transplant recipient. (See Benefit Concert to Honor Kristen Jagodowski.) The complete message appears below.

Thank you all for your interest in our benefit concert featuring the Hoppers. Sadly, due to circumstances beyond their control it has been necessary for the Martinsburg concert scheduled for Friday, June 23rd to be postponed. We are currently looking at alternative dates and will keep everyone posted as the details become available.

The Hoppers are very sorry to be unable to honor their commitment to that date and expressed their deepest apologies.

We are actively working to contact everyone involved and will be notifying ticket holders individually- many have already expressed an interest in waiting to hear our new date. Thank you all for your understanding and patience. We also thank you for your continued interest.

This concert has required much planning and a move to another date will be equally involved so we ask that you please bear with us as we sort through the details. We will make this work and I am confident that the concert, when it ultimately occurs, will be as great a success as this date was shaping up to be.

I am so thankful to Julie for the opportunity to be involved in this adventure and for being able to get to know the amazing Hopper family. I know there are still great things to come for all of us.

If you have specific questions you may call me at 304-283-6831 and I will answer them to the best of my ability. If you purchased a ticket I will be contacting you in the next day or so.

Thank you!
