Nick Vujicic, who was born without arms and legs, gave a powerful message to teens on Sunday night of the youth conference. He laced his talk with self-deprecating humor.

Brethren National Youth Conference, the annual gathering of more then 2,500 teens sponsored by CE National, met on the Biola University campus in LaMirada, California, the week of July 22-28, 2006. Using the “Rescue” theme based on Colossians 1:13-14, the teens combined Bible study, learning experiences, recreation, and outreach activities in a unique blend for the week.

Many teens had opportunity to learn about other world religions through visits to mosques, temples, and places of worship by Muslims, Sikhs, and Buddhists, organized by Grace Brethren International Missions. More than 1,200 teens also gained practical outreach experience, doing evangelism in parks, on beaches, at rescue missions, and in neighborhoods. The week concluded with observance of three-fold communion and a time of personal commitment.

BNYC07 will be July 21-27, 2007, on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. More information is available at www.cenational.org.
