The Grace Brethren Church of Calvert County, Owings, Md., is celebrating the retirement of Pastor Robert Wagner on Sunday evening, June 14. A Celebration Service at 7:30 p.m. will be proceeded with an invitation-only dinner (due to space restrictions). On that day, only one service will be held in the morning, as well. Pastor Wagner began the Bible class in 1982 that grew into the church, which is a daughter congregation of the Grace Brethren Church in Temple Hills, Md. In 1984, he led the first worship and became the full-time pastor in 1987. (For a full history of the church, click here.)
