Charis Teams in Region of Haitian Earthquake

Oct 7, 2018

Several teams from the Charis Fellowship are ministering in Haiti this week, where they experienced a 5.9 magniture earthquake yesterday. According to reports on Facebook, all are safe. See Magnitude 5.9 earthquake hits northern Haiti for a complete report of the earthquake. Below are reports from the Charis Fellowship ministries.

Caribbean Vision Ministry (Chuck Davis)

Haiti experienced an earthquake of 5.9 magnitude yesterday centered in the NW part of Haiti. At this writing all the personnel associated with Caribbean Vision Ministries are OK are far as we know. There are a number of Teams from the U.S. working around the Grace Theological Institute area in Cap Haitien at this time from Three Strands. A medical team arrived yesterday, the day of the quake, and a building team for Three Strands is scheduled to arrive today. In the Port de Paix/Tortuga area of Haiti a team from Sebring, FL Grace arrived yesterday to work on a church construction project they have been involved in. My understanding is Breathe Partners also has several teams serving in Haiti at this time.

We would ask you to pray for all these people from all these ministries as they serve the people of Haiti. And please pray for all the people in Haiti affected by the earthquake. We all know the people of Haiti have enough problems to deal with already. Thank you for praying. More info will follow as we become aware.

Dan O’Deens, Breathe Partners

Please pray for Pastor Matthew Wheelock and the group from Florida they are in the epicenter. They are fine but shaken. They are on the Island of Tortuga. Pray for Grace Fellowship from Pickerington as they are at the Breathe Center. Pray also for our staff and ORLA and Pastor Moise for their leadership.
