“We need each other and your ministry and service matters to the mission of Christ.”
Last week twenty women from Central Ohio gathered at East Side Grace Brethren Church in Blacklick, Ohio, for a time of connection, fellowship, and encouragement. East Side hosted the brunch in conjunction with Charis Women. Jenn Avey, executive director of Charis Women, led the group in a discussion on Matthew 7:1–6, examining our interactions with others and how we can best point people back to Jesus. The women also spent time getting to know one another, sharing ministry tips, and making valuable connections.
The event was open to all women in the Central Ohio region who serve, volunteer, or lead in ministry in any capacity. The women in attendance varied in their roles from pastor’s wife to bookkeeper to communications to ministering to women, children, and those with special needs. Churches represented were Bellefontaine Grace Church, East Side Grace Brethren Church, Grace Polaris Church, and Pataskala Grace Church.
