A special fundraising event in the Cleveland area this year focused on a family from Grace Church, Bath Campus, Akron, Ohio (Jeff Bogue, senior pastor). A portion of the proceeds of the Meadows Turkey Bowl will benefit the family of Pete Radke, a member of Grace Church who died last summer while saving a teenaged girl from drowning in Lake Erie. MEDINA, Ohio- A Northeast Ohio man, who lost his life over the summer while saving a teenager in Lake Erie, was honored at a charity football game on Thanksgiving.
