Coleman Weimer, son of Jason and Doni Weimer, competed this week in the World Yo-Yo Contest in Orlando, Fla. Coleman, who is 14-almost-15, placed 82nd out of 185 individuals within the 1A division. He did not make the finals.
“The competition will end this Saturday evening. There are many players from all around the world. Coleman has competed in four contests now. Two in Thailand and two in the USA so far,” say his folks, who serve on staff with Encompass World Partners in Thailand.
Coleman began playing yo-yo about four years ago and is self-taught. The video below is from preliminary competition this week.
