Covington, Ohio, Church is One of Dinner Sponsors

Calling Around Covington: Community Thanksgiving dinner upcoming

…because one cannot ever have too much turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, dressing, noodles, green bean casserole, and all the other goodies, the public is invited to the annual Covington Community Thanksgiving Dinner and Service, sponsored by the Covington Ministerial Association and area churches. The meal will be served this Wednesday, Nov. 25 — Thanksgiving Eve — from 5-6:30 p.m. The Community Thanksgiving Service will begin at 7 p.m. Both the dinner and service will be held at the Covington Christian Church at 115 N. Pearl St. The dinner will be served free of charge, and the 7 p.m. service will feature the talents and special music of Christian recording artist Tommy Renfro.

The dinner will be provided by the church congregations of Stillwater Community, St. Teresa Catholic, St. John’s Lutheran, Old German Baptist Brethren-New Conference, Friendship Grace Brethren, Friedens Lutheran, Fields of Grace, Covington Presbyterian, Covington Church of the Brethren, and Covington Christian. Thank you to all these area churches for their ministry to the community.
