
Integrated Community Development International has announced that Dan Thornton (pictured) from Soldotna, Alaska, has agreed to become ICDI’s new Chief of Operations.
Thornton, who is currently vice-chair of the Brethren Missionary Herald Company board and its previous chairman, recently resigned from a long-term pastorate at the Peninsula Grace Brethren Church in Soldotna.
Most recently Thornton was manager for his brother’s construction company which included a cabinet shop and flooring shop. He will be handling the USA operations and helping with various tasks related to keeping the different aspects of the work in the Central African Republic running smoothly.
ICDI’s director, Jim Hocking, said, “Welcome aboard Dan! We are excited about what God is going to be doing through you with ICDI!”
