Dayton Christian School on Monday announced a $6 million capital campaign to expand its campus. Here are four things to know about the school.

EXPANSION PLANS: $1.7 million has been raised so far to build a 31,000 square foot gymnasium seating 600. It would be the first gym in the school’s 54-year history.

HISTORY: Dayton Christian School is an inter-denominational, co-educational ministry. Dayton Christian Elementary School started in 1963 at Patterson Park Grace Brethren Church and the high school was founded in 1967, housed at 51 Best St.
