The Grace Brethren Church of Lanham, MD, (Paul Mutchler, pastor) recently commissioned Danny and Deborah Long to conduct missionary work in western Asia. Both Danny and Deborah grew up in the Lanham church, and both have served short-term missions in multiple countries as they sought the Lord’s direction. Danny is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and taught Bible, guitar classes and led the praise team at Lanham Christian School for five years.
He also played keyboards on the Grace Praise Team, led a Friday night collegiate outreach fellowship and served on the Elders and Advisors Board.
Deborah graduated from Grace College, taught music at Lanham Christian School and one year in Haiti. They and their son Daniel are going as “musicianaries,” seeking to assist in church planting efforts. Those interested in knowing more may contact them through their email djlong@juno.com.
