Micheal Faulkner, founding pastor of New Horizon Church, a Charis Fellowship congregation in New York, N.Y., lost his bid on Tuesday to become the next comptroller of the City of New York.
He lost the election to incumbent Scott Stringer, a Democrat, who took 77 percent of the vote, according to the New York Daily News. (Click here for more information.)
Faulkner, a Republican, had initially announced his candidacy for mayor but began to pursue the comptroller position in the winter of 2017.
