Dylan Felger picked up a pair of honors on Monday for Grace College’s track and field team.
The freshman runner was named the Men’s Track Athlete of the Week by both the NCCAA and the Crossroads League.
Felger excelled at last week’s 2019 NCCAA National Championships, hosted at Grace’s Bernard and Linnie Key Track and Field Complex.
Felger won a national title by finishing first in the 400-meter hurdles. His time of 53.67 seconds in the prelims set a school record.
He also was the national runner-up in the 4×400 relay, teaming up with Paul Brawner, Kyle Smith and Martin Schiele to post a time of 3:21.58. – from gclancers.com
