Thought you might like to hear about an outreach we had this past Sunday, July 10, 2005, at Gateway Church.
We had a couple, Rich and Linda Ingram, who started coming to our church about a year ago. Several months ago we finished a sermon series called “Fishing For Fred.” I finished by asking the question: “Who’s Your Fred?”
They approached me and told me they had a passion for Bikers. They asked if Gateway would host a Biker Sunday to reach their world. This Sunday we had about 50 Bikers come to our service.
There were a couple people who came to know the Lord and many more that said they would be back. We had lunch together and this group of Bikers had a great experience realizing that Gateway Church is a place where “Faith and Fun Come Together.”
