Grace College Softball Player Named to All-American Team

Grace College’s Hannah Herbster has been named a NCCAA All-American.

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – Hannah Herbster was recognized as an All-American for Grace College’s softball team.

Herbster, a junior outfielder, earned Second Team All-American honors from the NCCAA for her remarkable season.

Herbster led Grace’s offense with a .423 batting average. She had 82 hits in 52 games, tacking on 46 runs, 31 stolen bases and 25 RBIs.

She ranked 11th in the NAIA in hits per game (1.6/gm) and finished second in the Crossroads League for batting average and stolen bases per game.

Additionally, two Lady Lancers were applauded for their academic success. Chandler Elliott and Kati Gregory were both named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. To become a Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a GPA of 3.5 and achieve upperclassman status. The pair, along with Ashley Kleinbub, were also named NCCAA Scholar-Athletes.
