Chuck Davis, executive director of Caribbean Vision Ministries has sent this update following last week’s first national conference of Fraternite Charis d’ Haiti, the group of churches in Haiti affiliated with the Charis Alliance.
THANK YOU! Thanks for helping to make the Historic First National Conference of Charis Alliance in Haiti a great success. Another Conference is scheduled for August 2020 and everyone expects it to be an even greater event with a year of Conference experience behind the Alliance. Like all events in Haiti there were some changes and interruptions to the Conference schedule and also some rain and electric power issues and some other minor items. The fellowship, training, preaching, music, business meeting, communion and food were all good. New relationships were formed, challenges were put forth, and the House of Hope Orphanage children were delighted to have all these Pastors as guests.
Your prayers and your financial gifts made this great event possible and successful for the Pastors and guests who attended the Conference. Caribbean Vision Ministries thanks you for your sacrifices to make this event possible. Eternity will reveal what God accomplished in this Conference but I think we will also see some of the results coming forth this year as these faithful Pastors return to their home churches fired up for Jesus and proclaiming His Word to those in their local harvest fields. Please continue to pray for these Pastors and the country of Haiti. Only a great work of God in Haiti will keep this country from continuing down the road to chaos, poverty, and very often violence.
