‘Renewed spirit of the Lord’: Residents join National Day of Prayer observance
Several Broad Top area residents joined members of the Broad Top Ministerium in its observation of National Day of Prayer. The hour long event was held Thursday evening at the Saxton Community Parkway. Several ministerium members and guests prayed for different aspects of today’s life and the country’s dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Several musical selections were also sung during the event. …
The Rev. Bill Hall, pastor of the Living Hope Grace Brethren Church, prayed for families. Hall said that God has the ability to do an abundant amount of great things and all we have to do is ask for him to work within our lives.
If people come together to pray no matter where it is and they are sincere, God will hear their prayers. Hall prayed for the area’s young people that they too might seek out the word of the Lord and beme future leaders in their respective communities.
