The 50th anniversary of the soccer program, alumni games for basketball, tennis, and baseball teams, and reunions for class years ending in 5 and 0 are among the highlights of next weekend’s Homecoming celebration at Grace College, Winona Lake, Ind.
The weekend begins Friday, September 26 with Homecoming chapel and Alumni Award presentation at 10:30 a.m. in the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center. Seminary graduates are invited to a reunion reception at 4 p.m. in the William Male Center for Seminary and Graduate Counseling. Fifty years of soccer at Grace College will be marked with a banquet beginning at 6 p.m. in Rodeheaver Auditorium. GOAL graduates will gather for a reunion dessert at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 26, kicks off with two breakfasts — a pancake meal in Alpha Hall and the Lancer Athletic Hall of Fame breakfast in the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center. Throughout the day there will be opportunities to reconnect with fellow graduates, attend alumni athletic games, enjoy a tailgate barbecue, tour campus, and watch the current men’s soccer team take on Indiana Wesleyan. The evening concludes with the alumni banquet, a concert by Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman, and the Nocturnal 6 Adventure Race.
