On September 17, 2010, Grace College student Jeremy Mohr suffered an injury that resulted in paralysis from the ears down and the death of his friend. Today his CaringBridge site carried the following news:
Surprise! Jeremy graduated from college today! Dr. Swanson, Professor Schram, and Aaron Crabtree were here today and videoed Jeremy in his cap and gown. The nurses watched and cried! It was wonderful ! Ryan Gerber his best bud was here too ! Jeremy decided to go to Shepherd’s in Atlanta, Georgia. The plans are to fly out Wednesday. What an answer to all our prayers! We thought it might take awhile for the insurance to approve. Thanking the Lord for the great day.
