This blog informed readers in an August 26, 2010, entry about the serious tractor accident in Alabama that injured longtime Grace Brethren pastor John Gillis.
Word has now reached us through John’s wife Ruthie (via Tom McDairmant) that John has recovered sufficently that he preached this past Sunday morning.
According to McDairmant, Gillis spent 10 days in intensive care in a Mobile hospital, then 19 days in a hospital nearer home, and since then he is “out of the clamshell” and has been undergoing rehabilitation for his injuries. The Gillises are grateful for the prayer support and best wishes of the FGBC family.
