Larry Richeson, long-time pastor of the Indian Heights Grace Brethren Church in Kokomo, Ind., has announced his retirement.
He noted that July 1 ,2017, was his 38th year anniversary as pastor of Grace Brethren congregations in Winona, Minn.; Fort Wayne, Ind.; Covington, Ohio; and both North Kokomo Grace Brethren and Indian Heights Grace Brethren in Kokomo.
“It has been a privilege to share in the lives of people who are suffering, experiencing sorrow, and disappointments, as well as the joys of life,” he said. “Pastor Kenneth Ashman (the late long-time pastor of Grace Church, Wooster, Ohio) taught me many years ago when I was 13, and had the opportunity to have a devotional for our youth group, to ‘just share the word.’ I will always be thankful for that advice.”
