The current congregation is largely made up of older Christ-followers who desire to leave a legacy by launching a new church plant within the church while also being ministered to by the new lead pastor. Uniontown Grace has partnered with Assist Church Expansion to see this happen. This ministry opportunity will necessitate having a pastor with a passion for evangelism and discipleship who is also willing to minister to the current 40 members and attenders of the church while intentionally reaching the unchurched of the community. If you are a pastor with this kind of a mindset, then Uniontown Grace is a church you should highly consider. You would work with the Elder and Vision Teams to develop a vision for the future. You would spend approximately 50% of your time preparing sermons as well as developing and implementing the new vision; you would spend 30% of your time reaching the unchurched in the community; and 20% of your time ministering with and to the current members and attenders. This truly is a legacy Relaunch opportunity. The church will become a shining example of what it means to live out the Great Commission. Uniontown Grace is located in the scenic and historical city of Uniontown, PA which is located 45 miles southwest of Pittsburgh and 30 miles north of Morgantown, WV.
The Lead Pastor will enthusiastically oversee/develop the following areas:
● Sunday Worship Service including preaching regularly
● Outreach to the unchurched community
● Development/Coaching of ministry workers/leaders
● Discipleship plans and programs
● Shepherding the congregation
