Dan O’Deens, former senior pastor of the Grace Brethren church in Parkesburg, Penna. and founder of a fast-response relief agency, has sent along the following update and challenge regarding Haiti:
Haiti is a country under fire! Never before has one country been so devastated in a span of one year. A massive earthquake, a hurricane and now the cholera outbreak. There is MUCH to be done. You can make a difference.
This past week Franklin Graham and Sarah Palin visited the orphanage and village CPR-3 has been focusing on. The cholera clinic in this YouTube video is one that CPR-3 CompassionCorp member Matt Goetz helped build and serve in. The building at the end of the village is a church where Dan O’Deens has preached and has seen 17 people come to know Jesus.
In Partnership with Samaritan’s Purse CPR-3 has now built nearly 500 homes of the 10,000 that Samaritan’s Purse has constructed.
