Word has been received of the death of Mike Grill, popular long-time professor at Grace College, Winona Lake, Ind., and a member of the Winona Lake, Ind., Grace Brethren Church, following a lengthy illness. This message was distributed earlier to the Winona Lake church by lead pastor Bruce Barlow.
Dear WLGBC Church Family,
At about 6:15 tonight, Mike Grill passed into the presence of Jesus.
We’ve all learned much about prayer and trusting God during the past eight years of Mike & Becky’s journey.
Mike impacted generations of Grace College students during his tenure there as a professor. He has served our whole church family so well as one of our overseers for many years.
Thank you for continuing to pray for Becky, Josh & Amy and their children, Kittie (Mike’s Mom), and Steve & Susan Grill.
Details will be arranged tomorrow and we will spread the word after that about the date and time for a memorial service. It will be held sometime during the week of April 8-12.
In the meantime, thanks for praying.
