Missions Retirees, Volunteers Honored

May 1, 2008

Grace Brethren International Missions held its annual “Retiree and Volunteer Luncheon” at Westminster Hall in Winona Lake, Indiana, at noon today. More than 150 attended the function. In this photo operations director Mike Taylor makes introductory remarks.

Entertainment was provided by the “No-Name Men’s Quartet” from Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. Retired missionaries were honored, and those present represented an aggregate of more than 600 years of missionary service around the globe.

GBIM executive director Dave Guiles gave a roundup of GBIM activity around the world, and prayer coordinator Ron Guiles closed the meeting with a group prayer time that was concluded by former GBIM executive director Jack Zielasko.
