The National Youth Worker Retreat is in full swing in Daytona Beach, Fla., with more than 60 in attendance. On Tuesday morning Steve Kozak, vice president of youth ministries for CE National, talked about the changing landscape of youth ministry, Bruce Barlow, lead pastor of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church in Winona Lake, Ind., talked about counseling students who have problems with authority, and Chis Selby from Dare to Share encouraged youth workers to lead the way in sharing their faith. Last night, Jordan Howerton led an hour of worship.
A great spirit of sharing and interaction has been a large part of the retreat. The retreat continues today with Steve, Bruce, and Sean McDowell teaching.
The retreat is being held right on the ocean at El Caribe Resort in Daytona Beach and continues through Thursday, March 21.
