Tony Webb, executive director of VisionUSA and VisionOhio, Grace Brethren church planting organizations, has announced the development of an online assessment tool to see if you are a “gatherer.” Tony teaches the GSE approach to church planting — Gatherer, Shepherd, Elder. This free tool, designed with Jonathan Reitz at Coachnet, will help people determine if they are a gatherer — someone who naturally draws people into conversation with himself (or herself) and follows a simple, easy-to-execute process to launch a church.
“Gatherers are key to our church starting process we are using and seeing Jesus use in many ways,” he said. “Our Gatherer/Shepherd/Elder (GSE) church starting process costs zero money to use in starting churches. Gatherers are not evangelists, they are differently gifted, focused person – they are men and/or women or teens; but they are used by Jesus to start churches!”
